Dunkeswell Rovers 4, Priory 1

The Dunks chalked up a sixth win in 11 league outings with a fine all-round display.

The win lifts Rod Hill’s side to fifth in the table.

Steve Morris (2), Jamie Berry and Tom Cligg were the Dunks scorers.

Boss Rod Hill said: “Everybody put a shift in and I see no reason why we can’t take this current good run on and mount a serious promotion challenge this season.”

On Saturday the Dunks entertain a Silverton side that last weekend went down 4-2 to another East Devon outfit, Feniton Reserves.
