Offwell Rangers get sixy with Cheriton Fitzpaine

Offwell Rangers were at their very best as they put Cheriton Fitzpaine to the sword to the tune of a 6-1 thrashing.

From the first whistle Rangers were clearly in no mood to take things easy on the visiting Cherries!

It might well have been a bigger win had not what looked like two ‘cast iron’ penalties not been awarded and also the visitors were seemingly very fortunate not to be reduced to ten men after what did look a two-footed challenge!

Dan Williams and Dean Thomas both bagged braces and there were single goals from Paul Dudley and Dane Spiller.

Match sponsors for the game were the Deer Park Hotel and they opted for their Man of the Match award to be shared between the excellent pairing of Tim Huxley and Nigel Nidd.
