Offwell Rangers continued their superb run of form to defeat Seaton Town Reserves 6-1 and move into second place in Fresha League Division Seven.

A long-range strike from Dean Thomas gave Rangers a deserved lead in a game that was played in the face of a gale-force wind.

Steve Curry doubled the lead with a trademark clinical finish after a clever cut-back from Ash Trudgeon. Curry then rifled home his second before Trudgeon struck with a cool finish to make it four.

Player-boss Scott Philips scored his side’s fifth and the sixth and final goal was netted by Paul Dudley.

Match sponsors, Perrie Hale Nurseries, opted to select Sam Farmer as the Man of the Match.

Ranger’s boss Phillips said: The team is playing with such confidence and I get the impression they are now going into matches expecting to win which is a very good thing to have in the dressing room. We now have our eyes firmly on top spot!”
