Honiton Town Under-8s’ player Liam Osbourne had a morning to remember as he scored eight goals in two games and played only a half of each!
Playing in Exeter and District Youth League games young Osbourne first struck a second half hat-trick after coming on at the break in a 5-0 win over City Raiders.
Jacob England and Bailey Williams had the scored the goals that gave Town a 2-0 lead at the break. Isaac Lidster was fully deserving of his clean sheet.
Midfielder Jamie Salter and defender Benn Mottren both had fine games for Town.
In the second game a Jacob England goal had the Town youngsters ahead at the break against West Exe.
Osbourne came on at the start of the second half and was the stand-out player for the remainder of the contest, netting five times! Tyler Pendrick had a fine game in midfield for Town.
Osbourne was unsurprisingly named the Honiton Town Player of the Day.
