Millwey Rise Reserves shared four goals with hosts Exmouth Town thirds, writes Dick Sturch.

What was a young Rise team, played very well to hold a 2-0 half-time lead over a strong home side.

Mark Pike scored both the Rise goals. However, Rise were forced to settle for a point after the home side struck twice in quick succession, midway through the second half.

In what was an all-round excellent team effort the Rise Man of the Match award went to Matt Rockett, who is sponsored by Axminster Printing Co, and who was outstanding at the heart of the Rise defence.

On Saturday (October 13), Rise Reserves entertain Devon Yeoman Reserves at Cloakham Lawns (3pm).
