Colyton 2, Seaton Town 4

The mulled wine and mince pies were welcomed by the Seaton supporters when they travelled across to Colyton for the Under-15s latest East Devon Youth League game.

In awful conditions; it blew a gale throughout and poured with rain. The teams battled manfully against the elements.

Lewis Cottam fired Town into an early lead and Ollie Binion doubled the advantage by half-time.

After the break the underfoot conditions became even more slippery, but the Town midfield of Jacob Rowe, Lewis Franklin and Tony Pinder controlled proceedings whilst the back line did a great job in front of the outstanding Lewis Pearson in goal.

Further goals were added by Cameron Gould and there was a second from Cottam before the hosts scored twice late on, first with a volley and then from the penalty spot. Jacob Rowe was named the Town Man of the Match.
