FOOTBALL: Seventy three teams competed in eight age groups in the annual Honiton Town Youth FC Six a Side tournament.

Seventy three teams competed in eight age groups in the annual Honiton Town Youth FC Six a Side tournament.Having moved this year's tournament to July, the host club were able to take advantage of a fine sunny day, which made up for the disappointing weather experienced over the past two years.The competition was keenly contested, with many age groups going down to the final game before the winners and runners up were determined.Club Chairman, Nigel Doe commented: "I would like to thank the club committee both, past and present, Jess Doe, the referees, especially those who travelled from Torquay, the local branch of St John Ambulance, and the participating teams for their efforts in making this year's tournament a resounding success."Pictured are Honiton Town under-10s who finished runners-up in their recent home tournament.
