Seaton set to launch women’s football team next season

Seaton Youth Football Club field an under-16 girls’ team in the Devon Girls League.

The team play around 14 fixtures each season with matches played on Sunday morning’s.

The girls’ have enjoyed a successful first year and new players are needed for next season. If you are interested and currently in Years 10 or 11 at school then do get in touch with the team manager, Jamie Bond, on 07703 647709.

Until two years ago Seaton Women fielded a team in the Devon Women’s League and it is hoped to reform the side for next season.

A meeting will be held on Sunday, April 19, at noon in the clubhouse of Seaton Town FC to discuss this possibility and all those interested are most welcome to attend.
