Seaton Town to face Heavies for third time this term

PUBLISHED: 13:28 31 December 2012

Seaton Town begin 2013 sitting seventh in the Fresha League Premier Division table.

The Colyford Road side started the season as one of the big favourites to finally land the title after a couple of near misses in recent campaigns.

The top honour would seem to be beyond Town, but they will be seeking to ensure as high a finish as possible and they begin the second half of their campaign this coming Saturday with a trip to Exeter to face Heavitree Social United.

It’ll be the third time this term that Josh Stunell’s men have faced the Heavies and they are so far unbeaten.

The pair drew 3-3 at Colyford Road back on August 18 in a league encounter and Town won 2-1 when then sides met in the East Devon Senior Cup in September.

Town follow the Heavies game with back-to-back meetings with Newtown after which they entertain first University and then Morchard Bishop.
