Seaton Town to host Cornish side this Saturday at Colyford Road

This coming Saturday (August 10), Seaton Town stage what has become an annual fixture to kick-off then new season.

For the third season running East Cornwall Premier League side Bere Alston will be the opposition at Colyford Road.

This annual pre-season fixture is played for the Pete Cozens Remembrance Trophy and was instigated by Josh Stunnel in memory of Pete, the grandfather of his wife Jess.

All proceeds from the match will go to ELF the Exeter based leukaemia charity.

Seaton secretary Paul Grint says: “The link between Seaton and Bere Alston goes back to a closely contested Devon Premier Cup match in 2010. Since then we have generated some excellent friendships’ with them and look forward to another close contest this Saturday.”

Kick off is at 2.30pm.
