Avishayes 0, Seaton 4

Seaton Under-10s were fully deserving of their clean sheet success, their third shut-out in the last four outings.

Captain Morgan Sommerville led by example in an impressive first half that saw him both make saves and distribute the ball very well. Seaton took the lead courtesy of some individual brilliance by Billy Gait. This was followed by a Josh Tait hat-trick with the best of his three being a superb flick-header. Tait, who is clearly improving by the game, proved to be a handful throughout the contest.

Kyle Williams served up his best yet in the Seaton green with a tremendous shift on the left wing from where he created a number of chances and also cut inside to go close with a number of long-range shots. Zac Hawkins also impressed at left back where the coach put him to give him the chance to see what happens in front of him, to aid his progress. Jenna Markham and Ben Driver were industrious on the right side whilst Jack White was imperious in the sweeper berth. Mathew Roberts ran his heart out and Ethan Whitehouse was a solid defensive unit. Beck Finnemore made another trusted performance. The match day awards went to Josh Tait who lifted the Supporters’ Player of the day whilst the Coaches’ Player of the day honour went to Kyle Williams.
