Seaton Town Under-12s played the first of what will be three consecutive double-header weekends of football with a draw and a win.

First up a Saturday game at Colyton with the game played on a small pitch that did not suit the Seaton style! In an end-to-end encounter the home side scored only for Edward Kenworthy to level from a corner before the break. Colyton regained the lead in the second half only for William Hellier to level. Colyton took the lead for the third time, but Town were not to be denied and, with a Matthew Heron assist and a second goal for Kenworthy, honours ended even at 3-3.

The next day Town travelled to Crediton for a re-arranged Exeter and District Youth League game. They were hit by the match day withdrawal of keeper Tucker Vincent through illness, but still led 1-0 at the break thanks to yet another Kenworthy goal. The second half saw Town step up a gear to totally dominate proceedings. Kenworthy bagged two more to complete another treble before Reece McCabe raced through for a trademark score. The goal of the game was scored by Drew Aedo-Smith who met a Piers Alphonse corner with a thunderous header. A second for McCabe completed the scoring.

William Hellier made sure of another Town clean sheet with a splendid late save. Piers Alphonse was named the Town Man of the Match. The win keeps Seaton second in the table; three points shy of the leaders who have played a game more.
