Seaton Under-14s claimed their third straight victory when they defeated Twyford Spartans 4-2.

Alfie Bullmore fired them into a first half lead with a long-range strike and Scott De Gruchy doubled the lead with a slick finish.

Centre-back Rhys Phillips extended the lead before the Tiverton side hit back with a goal.

The three-goal lead was swiftly restored by one of the team’s new players, Michael Williams.

Twyford scored a second late on, but Seaton were not to be denied a comfortable success.

Rhys Phillips was outstanding in his defensive role and there was also an impressive display from striker Brady Yeo.

Coach Oliver Page said: “The boys all put a good shift in and passed the ball well. There’s a lot of confidence in the side’s play at the moment and long may that continue.”

This Saturday Seaton reach the one-third mark of their league season with a trip to a fourth placed Alphington side that sits two places and three points above them having played one game more.
