Seaton Under-16s were 8-4 winners when they travelled to Exeter to meet Central in an Exeter and District Youth League meeting.

Both sides made bright starts, but it was Seaton who struck first with skipper Lewis Cottam and striker Joe Urquhart combining prior to the latter netting. Cottam doubled the lead before Tony Pinder bagged a brace. With Cam Gould missing from the defence Jacob Rowe stepped in and did well. However, in a first half of eight goals, the hosts scored three and Seaton took a 5-3 lead into the break.

In the second half Max Richardson and Kyle Gould added their name the Seaton goal scoring list, but the Exeter side also scored once more in an entertaining game.

Brandon Curl and Jamie Tit had fine games for Seaton, but the winners Man of the Match was Joe Urquhart.

Seaton have a Saturday off this weekend, but return to action the week after (Saturday, December 20) when they entertain Witheridge.
