Seaton Under-16s proved too powerful to a battling Millwey Rise side in an Exeter Youth League match.

It was always going to be a tough task for the recently-formed Millwey team against an established Seaton side that has made a good start to the season.

Seaton took control early on thanks to the midfield power of Tony Pinder and Jacob Rowe. There were eight goals scored in the first half by Seaton.

After the break Seaton coach Ian Franklin swapped his players round into different positions but still the goal continued to arrive.

The majority of the Seaton team scored goals and even goalie James Jobson, when played out field, netted.

The Seaton Man of the Match award went to Daniel Lathom who ended with a hat-trick.

Milwey Rise with a lot of younger players in their side, are to be credited for their battling nature from first whistle to last.

On Saturday Seaton entertain West Exe Youth in another league game.
