Seaton Under-9s had mixed fortunes in meetings with Twyford Spartans and Twyford Gladiators.

First up they were edged out 2-0 by Spartans.

In a fine game that ebbed and defensive duo Harvey Green and Taylor Hine did some great work to repel some sharp attacking play and goalkeeper Adam Clinch was superb throughout.

Seaton had their chances too, but could not find their way past a solid keeper, despite going close on a number of occasions.

The Gladiators were then held to a 2-2 draw in a contest that had parents from both sides applauding the entertainment.

Man of the match Adam Clinch made it 1-1 just before half-time, latching on to a clever through-ball by Corbin Reel before firing high into the corner. Trailing 2-1 with minutes to go Henry Matthews then swept in a cross after some crafty wing play by Aaron Hale to make it 2-2. Billy Fowler and Jericho Hannant held things together in midfield with their industry and craft as Seaton earned a well deserved draw.
