Seaton Under-9s chalked up a win double in Exeter and District Youth League matches against Exeter-based opposition.

First up they beat Heavitree 4-0 in what was a most impressive team performance. They were solid in defence with Adam Clinch marshalling the back line superbly in front of ‘safe-hands’ gloves man Kieran Jaycock.

Up front, the strikers showed some clinical finishing as goals were scored by Aaron Hale (2), George Gait and Leo Gribble.

Next up against Pinhoe there was more of the same with Hale notching another double whilst Gribble and Gait also scored again. The other Seaton goal was a first for the impressive Christian Pinnock who capped a fine debut for then team with a goal.

Thomas Brown controlled the centre of midfield, linking well with Billy Fowler and Max Nevell and the trio never gave Pinhoe’s attackers any space as Seaton ran out emphatic 5-1 winners.
