Charlie Ledger and Kyle Gould, from Seaton, have been presented with Yeovil Town under-12 football club contracts at Huish Park, Yeovil's home ground.
Charlie's contract is for two years as a goalkeeper and Kyle's for one year as a midfielder.
Charlie started off playing in goal for Seaton Town juniors and, at 11, got the chance to trial for the Devon Elite squad at Ottery St Mary. With expert training and helpful advice from the goalkeeping instructors there, he progressed and worked hard. At the end of the season he won the overall Keeper of the Year award which was a great achievement. He has also received extra goalkeeping training from Josh Stunnell, Yeovil youth team manager and scout, and Ledger is now playing for Yeovil Town U13s. He will get a lot more training and action when he goes on tour with Yeovil in August, playing against the youth teams of Liverpool, Aston Villa and Everton.
Kyle Gould started to play football for Seaton Town at the age of six under the management of Dean Cobbold and Ollie Morgan.
For the following two seasons Dean Cobbold and Jake Hayes have managed Kyle, who has made tremendous progress, climbing the ranks and reaching Yeovil under-9s. Charlie and Kyle would both like to thank Josh Stunnell for giving them this great opportunity.
