Honiton Town Under-13s trailed 2-0 inside five minutes, went into the break at 3-3, and led 6-5 with five minutes to go before settling for a share of the spoils in a thrilling contest.

It was Michael Taylor who emerged as the Honiton star.

Taylor began the season as one of three goal keepers in the squad. Coach Andrew Horn persuaded him to play up front and the youngster has not looked back! Charley Horn and Kyle Newham scored the other Town goals.

The Town boss said: “All the lads deserve much credit for their approach to the game. Goal keeper Lockie Charleton was outstanding, but this was no one-man show. They all played their part.”
