Upottery Reserves swapped places with Queens Head to move into fourth place in the Macron League Division Six table after an impressive 4-1 win at the home of the Exeter-based club.

When the sides had met at Glebe Park earlier in the campaign the Exeter side had won the game by a single goal.

Both teams made slow starts to the game before the action burst into life with Cody Tratt-Skinner picking up the ball outside the area, before setting himself and unleashing a tremendous left-footed strike that left the home side stunned and gave Upottery a 1-0 interval lead.

It was a terrific opening 10 minutes of the second half that saw Upottery score three more times with Tratt-Skinner completing a hat-trick and the third was a fantastic team goal – the ball being crossed in by Tratt-Skinner for Harry Leisk to drill it along the goal line prior to a neat finish from Owen McCreadie-Taylor.

With the score at 4-0, Upottery looked very comfortable, but unfortunately switched off momentarily 10 minutes from end and gifted Queens Head a consolation goal.

The Man of the Match award winner was 16-year-old Cody Tratt-Skinner, who was simply ‘too hot to handle’ for the home side. Another to catch the eye was Jay Williams, who slotted into a different role as left back where he did a tremendous job working tirelessly throughout for his teammates.
