Tri-match for U9s

PUBLISHED: 15:11 14 December 2011

Honiton Town Under-9s travelled to West Hill's ground for their latest matches against Broadclyst and West Exe Youth, earning their first points of the season, writes Stuart Ward.

Up against a physical Broadclyst side in the first game, Honiton played their best football to date and were unlucky to only draw 3-3 and gain their first point of the season.

Everyone performed superbly with Oliver Turl and Caleb Freemantle (2) the goalscorers.

In game 2 against West Exe, Honiton gave their all but were unable to stop the visitors winning 5-2.

Players on the scoresheet this time were Matt Bevis and Dan Loosemore.

With the team now scoring goals, the players are really enjoying themselves and look forward to the final games before Xmas, next week at home versus Cullompton Rangers and Culm Sampford Leopards.
