Seaton Town 0, Upottery 2

Upottery claimed a major scalp as they beat Premier Division side Seaton Town on their own patch to bag a last four berth in this season’s Morrison Bell Cup.

Both goals were scored in the second half.

Jason Kennard fired the Division Three leaders into the lead before Jamie Girton celebrated his birthday with a superb second to complete the giant-killing.

Upottery boss Dan Prettejohn said: “This was no fluke. We outplayed them for long periods and this result shows that we are a good side and one that can go now and make this a season to remember.”
