Upottery march on with clean sheet wins for both senior teams

Upottery continued their wonderful season as a club with wins for both the senior and reserve side.

The first team were 7-0 winners over Sidmouth Town Reserves and the Glebe Park second string were impressive 6-0 winners in their East Devon derby with Feniton.

In the demolition of Sidmouth Town Reserves the seven goals were scored by Dan Scadden (2), Jason Kennard (2), Steve Morris, Sam Winslade and an own goal.

Jack Trevisic kept the team’s fifth clean sheet in 10 league and cup outings this season.

The Upottery Man of the Match award was shared between central midfielder Jake Phillips and centre back Ed Frampton.

For the Reserves, who have now won five of the six Fresha League Nine games they have played this season the goals were scored by Bradley Spiller (2), George Catcher, Dan Hole and sub Dan Taylor.

Upottery, University and Ammies are all still sporting 100 per cent records in Fresha League One.

This Saturday (November 7) the first team have a Devon Senior Cup tie at home to University Reserves (2pm) while the Reserves are without a game – they play next the week after at Honiton Town thirds.
