Honiton Town Under-11s kept up their promotion push with a free-scoring display at Mountbatten Park.

The visitors defended well until the deadlock was broken by Matthew Ward.

Once ahead Town did not look back. Ward went on to claim a hat-trick and there were doubles netted by Ben Spence and Becky Rose with the other goals scored by Caleb Freemantle, Will Whitworth and Harvey Newton.

Town go to Crediton on Saturday for their final game of the season.

Next week sees Honiton travel to Crediton for their final game of 2013 where they hope to carry on their good form.

If they could win at Crediton they may well sit second in the table at Christmas!
