Dunkeswell Rovers drew their first game of the Fresha League Division Six season when they shared four goals with hosts Exwick Villa

The teams had met just three weeks before in East Devon when Villa won 6-2. However, the Exeter found the Dunks much more like their normal selves and but for some ill fortune and some splendid home goalkeeping the Dunks would surely have held a half-time lead. As it was the only goal of the first 45 minutes was scored by Villa.

After the break there was more of the same before Tom Cligg got on the end of a corner to fire the Dunks level.

Almost immediately Sid Berry struck to put the visitors ahead only for parity to be swiftly restored with the games fourth and final goal.

In a fine all-round performance the stand-out shift was served up by Dunks left back Josh Wood.

On Saturday Dunkeswell entertain Woodbury Reserves.
