Youngsters finish season on a high

Exmouth Amtrs u-9 1, Feniton u-9 1: Feniton finished the season with an excellent performance in a hard fought contest at second placed Exmouth Amateurs.

Feniton took the lead in the first half, Kyle Hartnell firing home from the edge of the box.

Both teams then had chances, Lester Churchill firing just wide for the visitors, Sam Phillips in the Feniton goal pulling off some fine saves, but the score remained 1-0 at half time.

Both teams picked up the pace in the second half and Exmouth eventually equalised five minutes from time, scoring from a corner.

Man of the match was Albert Southall-Brown for good work up front.
