Father and daughter AVRs Graham and Paula Newton ran the Horner Water 11 on Exmoor.

Paula said that the beautiful wooded countryside almost made up for the five mile killer hill at the start of the 10 mile race. While admiring a herd of deer in the distance Paula suddenly noticed that they had been joined by a dog, apparently Graham had got into a conversation with one of the marshals at the water station and had offered to take her dog, Bill, along for some exercise. Graham, Paula and Bill all crossed the line together in 1 hr 57 minutes.

? Mike and Sue Venn ran the Easter Bunny 10k at Yeovilton Air Base. The organisers were so lucky with the weather, it did rain a little before the start but stopped for the race. They were both pleased with their times; Mike (who will be 71 this week) finished in 63:48 (he didn't wait for the prize giving so doesn’t know the category results), and Sue 59:00. This was great for Sue as the last time she finished within the hour was the late 1990s.
