AS part of National Bike Week activities, Axe Valley Pedallers will be hosting four rides on Sunday, June 15 and hope to attract 100 cylists.

AS part of National Bike Week activities, Axe Valley Pedallers will be hosting four rides on Sunday, June 15 and hope to attract 100 cylists. All should meet Seaton Tourist Information Centre at 10am where rides will be on offer for all abilities and age groups. 1: A family ride no more than two miles long will be led by Darren Rogers and will involve the use of the Off Road National Cycle Network route which runs alongside Seaton Marshes, and a short ride along the Esplanade. 2: A medium length ride being led by Nick Real which will involve an on road ride out towards the Coly Vale area and cover a distance up to about 15 miles. 3: An on road longer ride led by Clive Heard and will involve a distance up to about 25 miles. 4: An off road Mountain Bike ride (a first on offer by AVP for National Bike Week), lead by Kimmo Evans which will involve a distance of around 10 miles taking in the off road routes within Morganhayes. Afterward refreshments will be available at The King's Arms in Colyford Road, Seaton where a small bufftet will be on offer at a nominal charge.
