Sunday saw Honiton members playing for the Glanvil Cup, writes Andy Wagner.

This is a competition played as mixed foursome stableford format.

It was rather a depleted field due to the horrid weather. However, a few hardy souls ventured out.

The winners of the cup with 32 points, and after count back was called into play, were Sharon Dacre and David Rouse.

Edged into second, also with 32 points were Jan and John Dickinson.

Third place went to Jackie Seager and Graham Burch with 31 points and fourth spot was taken by Jenny Raison and Allan Seager with 29 points.

The final of the President’s Trophy was also contested and it resulted in victory for Penny Blackburn and Terry Dimond over Jane and Mike Watts.
