Glenda Board teams up with two others to win Axe Cliff Open on home course

Axe Cliff’s Glenda Board teamed up with Woodbury Park’s Kay Foster and Annie Dent of East Devon to win the Axe Cliff Open.

The competition attracted 35 teams of three.

The winners scored 87 points, beating a team from Deinton Park comprising of Carol Ward, Dee Thompson and Sonia Ryland on the back nine.

Third place went to Jil Bocquet, Daphne Pring and Kath Levell from Wells with 85 points.

The format for this event was a stableford with full handicap with the best two scores to count.
