The good gliding weather continues at Devon and Somerset Gliding Club with another set of achievements, writes Jill Harmer.
Rob Rand from Starcross and John Borland from Minehead both achieved their Silver Height badges at North Hill.
The good soaring weather with high cloudbases have enabled them to make a gain of height of more than 1000metres in the two club Junior gliders.
Andy Davey, from Exeter completed his cross-country endorsement with Mark Courtney in a Rotax Falke and is now ready for his next step into cross country flying.
