Green in Great West Run top ten

Many runners find racing in the big city events like the Great West Run truly inspirational and for many AVR’s last Sunday was the first time they had attempted to run 13.1 miles in a prestigious event with huge crowd support, writes Dave Mutter.
All runners did extremely well, but James Green was the pick of the crop finishing eighth out of nearly 3,000 finishers in 1:15:10.
Ian Apps had a great run, finishing 94th, 1:28:25, as did Justin Sloman who was 240th in 1:35:26.
