HONITON'S Heather Foundling-Hawker brought home a team gold medal from the first ultra-distance and mountain running Commonwealth Championships, held over 100km.

HONITON'S Heather Foundling-Hawker brought home a team gold medal from the first ultra-distance and mountain running Commonwealth Championships, held over 100km.

The course included 70k loops of a lake near Keswick and Heather finished fifth and the team were 1.17hrs ahead of Scotland and 4.36hrs ahead of Canada. Heather was the GB team flag bearer at the opening ceremony.
