There was a friendly encounter at Ottery St Mary that the home side won 107-81.

In the match at Ottery the top Honiton rink, 19-all, comprised M Critchley, M Granger, D Courtney, T Lambert.

There was another friendly played at Taunton Vivary. When tea time arrived the scores were level, but the rain also turned up and that delayed the start of the second half. When play did restart, Honiton went on to seal a 72-63 success.
