President Joan Heard opened the Honiton green in the traditional way by bowling the first bowl of the outdoor season.
Members then took part in an inter club friendly triples match. The top rink was M Critchley, S Willcox, S Evans. In a Mixed Triples match was against Phear Park, triumphed 45 - 41. Top rink T Lambert, M Bright, C Binmore 26 – 11.
Against Chardstock, Honiton won 93 - 48. Top rink R Rogers, J Mackintosh, G Aldem, D Morley 28 – 5. The hat-trick was completed by 102 – 77 win over Lyme Regis. Top rink Y Williams, M Granger, A Dredge and C Binmore 25 – 6.
Club Roll up matches are being held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Please arrive by 9.45am so we can start bowling at 10am. If you are not able to bowl in the mornings, the Friday evening roll up may be for you, starting at 5.45pm.
