Archant

The latest Honiton Tuesday mixed meeting saw a switch to their winter timetable, and 28 players took part in the morning action rather than in the afternoon, writes Ann Desmoulins.

What’s more, the coming of the winter timetable coincided with some wintry weather and the frosty morning meant that there were some temporary greens in play!

Partners were drawn for the monthly greensomes format.

Winning the Centenary Goblets with a score of 38 points were Pam Knibb and Barry Rogers.

In second place were Vicki Rogers and Vaughan Whiteley and they were closely followed by Sarah Dawe and Paul Ritchie with 35 points.
