Honiton Club championship draws ever nearer

The Honiton Club Championship is getting nearer and those Phillips boys are honing their game, writes Andy Wagner.

Always competitive - especially against each other - they both carded impressive scores of 38 points in the latest monthly stableford.

The pair were separated by countback, this time in Jake’s favour.

I’m pretty sure Ben won’t let that lie so look out John Adams Scratch Cup day! Third,with a steady 35 points was Martin Pearse.

Division Two saw Julian Netherway home and dry on 37 points with Tim Morris second with 36 and Merv Blackmore third with his score of 35 points.
