The Honiton ladies section contested the monthly medal and the Foundation Brooch, writes Liz Rogers.

Linda Mclaughlin again came in with a very good score of net 72 to win the Golf Foundation Brooch and also top the Bronze Two Division.

In the medal competition, Anne Davies came top in the Silver Division with a net 73, just edging out Jackie Seager on countback, after she too returned a net 73.

The first place in Bronze One Division was taken by Liz Rogers with a net 73. This was another close contest as Joan Smith also returned a score of net 73, but was edged into second place on countback. Third place went to Gill Johnson with a net 76.

The nine-hole competition was won by Margaret Jory with 11 points.
