For the second week running in the Honiton seniors’ section it was Division Two players who returned the best scores, writes Liz Rogers.

Last week John Pawley topped the leader board, but this week Rob Sexton won the stableford competition and the Captain’s Prize with 41 points, all achieved in less than ideal conditions!

Mike Delaney was the runner-up with 37 points, beating David Lavender on countback.

John Pawley and Phil Wall took the other prizes. Division One was won by Eric Short on count back from Mike Ward. Vice captain Alan Pollock narrowly beat Chris Street, both on 36 points, and Mike Stroud took the last prize.
