Honiton lose at home for the first time

Julian Netherway’s Dartmoor league team have lost for the first time at home, not only for the season but since Honiton joined the league back in 2015, Teign Valley took the honours with a 3-2 win.   
Honiton’s winning pairs on the day were Paul Bowkorski and Matt Young, and Julian and Andy Phillips. The next game is away to Okehampton. 
This week's Ladies Yellow Ball Golf Competition produced a fabulous first place with 127 points for the winning team of Kathy DeLacey, Sue Kelson and Sheila Palmer. Not too far behind in second place was Danucia White, Liz Rogers and Catherine Doherty with 113 points, closely followed in third place with 111 points for Liz Wood, Susan Armstrong and Monical Scovell.  
Honiton B Team took on Axe Cliff in the annual comp played on a Home and away basis and after the home leg at Honiton its tied at 3 all.   
The winning pairs for Honiton were Captain of the day Paul Willey/ Kev Kelly, Paul Stewart/Julian Bacon and Henry Robertson/Graham Rooms.
