Honiton Town Youth U13s came away from Millwey Rise with a 9-1 win, but a rejuvenated Millwey made them work for their result.

leading by 4-0 at half time, Honiton scored a further five in the second half to complete the win.

Goals from Harry Leisk (3), Blake Freemantle(2) Jake Crutchley Davies (2)and one a piece from Jake Sellick and Ashley Munt. Honiton still have more to show this season but both coaches were delighted with Cody Knight who showed the way this weekend.

Just before half time Willand broke and caught Colyton U13s’ keeper off his line and scored to make the score 1-5 at the break, writes Jane Tate.

The second half saw both teams again passing with style and vigour. Goal scorers for Colyton were Dom Beer 3, Harry Day 2, Tony Pinder 1, Will Bennett 1, and Billy Long 1. Colyton were pushed very hard by a determined and hospitable Willand side.

Millwey Rise FC U13s took on Honiton for the third time this season, having lost the previous matches 16-0 and 15-0, writes Nick Tregale.

The Honiton manager commented on how much Millwey had improved as this time, they lost 9-1, debutant Lee Cambridge having scored in the second half.

?Millwey Rise FC U10 Blues, fought out a 1-1 with Feniton. Feniton won the last meeting 5-1 but this time, in a tight first half, Feniton held a 1-0 advantage. Blues were on top in the second half and Zak Featherstone equalised

?Millwey Rise U10 Purples had the ball in the back of Perry Street’s net after five seconds when Chris Watson scored his 13th goal of the season. Millwey held onto the lead until the second half when Street scored from open play twice and then were awarded a penalty to seal the 3-1 win.

Seaton A U13s played a brilliant game of football, beating Axminster 12-2, writes Andrew Franklin.

The play throughout was excellent with superb communication and passing. Lewis Cottam was great as stand in goalie. Ollie Binion, captain, ensured that the flow never stopped. Goal scorers came from every position. Max Richardson scored 4, Ollie Brown 1, Ollie Caute 3, Micah Woodland 2, Lewis Gibbons 1 and Ollie Binion 1. The Seaton boys have mixed well this season as two age groups have joined and this team play shows. Next week four of the younger boys have been selected to play for East Devon against North Devon in Sidmouth.

The A's next game is in Willand on the 11/12.

Honiton Town Under-9's visited Exeter on Saturday 26th to play their latest league games against Newton Knights and Stoke Hill.

In the first match against the Knights, Honiton played well and scored their first competitive goals before eventually losing 5-2. All players performed well and despite going behind they continued to pressure the opposition and won several corners, one of which Dan Loosemore drove to the near post, where the keeper was unable to stop the ball from crossing the line. Honiton scored their second when the hard-working Olly Turl crossed for Matthew Ward to tap in at the second attempt.

In the second game, Honiton were up against an excellent Stoke Hill side who passed the ball beautifully and created lots of chances. In goal this time, Turl made several saves, and who, along with great defending from Matthew Beviss and Matt Costanilla, kept the final score down to 6-0. Honiton never stopped trying throughout with Aidan Jones and Becky Rose both having to leave the field after bravely blocking crosses.

Honiton next play on December 10th against Broadclyst and West Exe Youth at West Hill's ground.
