The January stableford was another event to be hit by the weather, writes Andy Wagner.
A full field was on duty for the match contested in frosty conditions. It proved to be a chance to clear the head and start to shed those Christmas pounds!
The higher handicaps in Division Two seemed to enjoy the course set-up most, with Tim Morris sneaking first place ahead, after countback, of namesake Andy Morris.
Both players recorded 41 points.
Andy Wall (who has clearly shed his ‘hit and hope’ title), was third with an impressive 38 points.
The Division One winner was Alan Devenny (no slouch he), with 39 points. Julian Bacon took second place with 35, and Ian Drew was third with 32.
