A number of Honiton juniors travelled to Saunton Golf Club and competed in the Junior Open on the West Course, writes Liz Rogers.
Those of you who have been fortunate to play this first class venue will know how tricky it is to navigate.
However, not so for our junior captain Ben Phillips who carded an outstanding gross 76, net 69, in turn winning the best handicap prize in his division.
This led to a handicap reduction for Ben who will now in future be teeing off with a handicap of six. Congratulations, Ben!
