Honiton juniors lift the Basil Steer Trophy.

Congratulations to the Honiton Junior Team who beat Churston at Exeter Golf and Country Club, writes Andy Wagner.

The Honiton team won two-and-a-half to a half, this in the final of the Basil Steer Trophy.

This competition is a Devon Junior Inter-Club Matchplay Knockout and is quite a difficult and prestigious event to win.

The Honiton team were led by 17-year-old captain Jake Phillips whilst the other players were 13-year-old Ben Phillips and 12-year-old Max Nield.
