Honiton ladies card superb sequence of scores in latest competiton.

Was it the weather, or what they had for breakfast, that’s what was being asked after the latest ladies’ section event, writes Andy Wagner.

You can only sit and wonder what it was after the stableford competition a series of fantastic scores.

In Bronze Division One, all first, second and third places all scored above par, with top spot going to Lesley Oxenham who brought in a magnificent 41 points. Maureen McIlvean was second scoring 38, and Sharon Dacre was third with 37. Fourth place went to Lesley Farley with 36. In Bronze Two division, Liz Rogers brought in another above par score of 37 points to gain first place with Di Wall taking second spot with 35 points. Silver division winner, Tricia Swindell, produced yet another high score of 37 points while Joan Smith was second with 36 and Jackie Seager, third with 35.
