Honiton Ladies played their 2nd round of the Mail on Sunday Classic at Honiton, writes Andy Wagner.
Taking on Lyme Regis last Friday, team captain Jackie Seager, Sue Ritchie, Jane Watts, Tricia Swindell and Henrietta Bradshaw battled through another afternoon of wind and rain which could have been considered more akin to training for the Territorial Army!
The first three match play contests ended with one win and two defeats.
This took the competiion to the wire with both the final games finishing on the 18th green for a half, giving the result of a three-and-two loss for Honiton
