Honiton ladies excel in County Lane League

Honiton ladies are very happy with their late run in the County Lane League which has secured them second place, writes Julie Grant.

Several relatively new bowlers have played in this two home triples and two away triples competition.

To finish county runners-up is a great achievement.

In the men’s friendly last week, Honiton lost to Devon Vice Presidents 68-72.

The top rink with an 18-14 victory were David Tooley, Jim Doran, Barry Randall and Mike Smith.
