Card markers needed to pay special attention this week as countback played a large part in deciding the winners in the ladies section meeting, writes Andy Wagner.

In Silver Division first place went to Jackie Seager with Joan Smith second and Su Calver third, all scoring 33 stableford points.

Bronze One Division told a similar story with first place, after countback, going to Gill Johnson on 35 points. Jenny Raison was edged into second place after she too scored 35 points and third place with 34 points, but again determined by countback, Jan Dickinson.

In Bronze Two Division only Majsan Stroud stood out alone in first place with a score of 33 points.

Liz Rogers was second with 29, and she edged Jan Portlock into third spot after countback was called into play once again.

In the 9-hole stableford Pam Manning took first spot with 19 points and Catherine Hunt, with 17 points, took second.

The qualifiers for the Warren Crocus finals were Elizabeth Ward and Joan Smith for Silver Division, and Gill Johnson and Jan Dickinson for Bronze Division.
