Honiton ladies meeting success for Barnes, Trayling and Farley

Honiton ladies played their latest meeting in beautiful sunny weather and the course was in fine condition, writes Liz Rogers.

The format was a fun competition, Texas Scramble, in teams of three.

In first place with an excellent score of 71.6 were Stephani Barnes, Ann Trayling and Lesley Farley. Next up in second place were Elizabeth Ward, Sharon Dacre and Liz Rogers with 75.3. Hot on their heels in third place were Henrietta Bradshaw, Linda Northover and Monica Lacey with 76.7.

There was also a 10-hole Texas Scramble competition and the winners were Margaret Jory, Judith Newberry and Sheila Jelly with a score of 36.7.
