Honiton ladies set up Match Play event

Honiton ladies had no serious competition last week, but a Match Play event was organised so that the ladies could practise their match-playing skills in anticipation of the County League Competitions which start next month, writes Ann Desmoulin.

The meeting was also used to introduce those members who are not familiar with this format to the joys of playing an opponent, not the course.

It was a cold but sunny day just for a change and all greens were in play.

Quite a treat.
